Seol In-ah
Seol In-ah (설인아, born January 3, 1996) is a South Korean actress, born Bang Ye-rin (방예린) in Suwon, managed by Gold Medalist. Her acting debut came in 2015 with a minor role in The Producers, followed by Flowers of the Prison in 2016. She built early recognition in 2017 through supporting roles in Strong Girl Bong-soon (JTBC) and School 2017 (KBS2), establishing her profile before landing her first lead in Sunny Again Tomorrow (KBS2, 2018), which earned her Best New Actress at that year’s KBS Drama Awards.
A second lead came with the weekend serial Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life (KBS2, 2019–2020), where she played Kim Cheong-ah across 100 episodes and took home the Excellence Award for Actress in a Serial Drama at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards. She expanded her range in the historical comedy Mr. Queen (MBC, 2020–2021), playing royal consort Jo Hwa-jin alongside a breakout ensemble.
Business Proposal changed the scale. As Jin Young-seo, the sharp-tongued heiress best friend in the 2022 SBS romantic comedy, she drew the bulk of viewer affection in a show that dominated Netflix globally across Southeast Asia and Japan. The role earned her Best Supporting Actress at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards. The same year she appeared in the disaster film Emergency Declaration and led the coming-of-age drama Twinkling Watermelon (ENA/KBS2, 2023).
In 2026, she stepped into a full romantic lead with My Guilty Man on SBS, a legal comedy that moved her from scene-stealer to headline draw. She was also appointed brand ambassador for Alma Korea, the Korean arm of Alma Lasers. Her Instagram, @_seorina, has over 10 million followers.
