Seunghun

Seunghun (승훈), born Kim Seung-hun (김승훈), is one of the voices that kept CIX emotionally sharp instead of merely polished. His tone has always carried lift without losing weight, which is part of why the group's sleek production still felt human across its strongest releases.

Before debut, Seunghun already had a recognisable trainee profile through survival-show exposure. In CIX, that visibility matured into something more durable: a vocalist who could carry melodic tension, balance heavier arrangements, and help the group keep its shape after Bae Jin-young left and the lineup tightened.

The 2026 end of his contract with C9 Entertainment lands with real weight because Seunghun was never just another member in the stack. He was one of the voices that made CIX sound unmistakably like itself.

Fans Also Ask

Who is Seunghun in CIX?
Seunghun is one of CIX's defining vocalists and a key reason the group's catalog never felt emotionally flat. Since debuting in 2019 under C9 Entertainment, he has carried many of the melodic high points in the group's discography, including the four-member period that followed Bae Jin-young's departure.
Was Seunghun on YG Treasure Box before CIX?
Yes. Seunghun was already familiar to many K-pop fans before CIX because of his trainee-era survival-show exposure, including YG Treasure Box. That background gave him early visibility, but his long-term reputation came from the vocal consistency and polish he delivered once CIX formally launched.
Is Seunghun leaving C9 Entertainment?
Yes. C9 Entertainment said Seunghun's exclusive contract ends on April 30, 2026 as part of the company's shutdown of CIX's current group activities. The timing places him alongside BX in the first wave of departures before Yonghee's enlistment and Hyunsuk's later contract end.
