Sihwan
Sihwan (시환), born Kim Si-hwan, is one of the most creatively useful members in TUNEXX, IST Entertainment's seven-member rookie boy group. Publicly, he first entered the conversation through Mnet's Boys II Planet in 2025, where he represented IST and built early recognition before being eliminated in episode eight. That did not end his runway. When IST finalized TUNEXX for a March 2026 debut, Sihwan made the lineup and immediately became part of the group's core narrative.
What separates him from a lot of rookie-idol profiles is authorship. TUNEXX was not introduced as a purely label-manufactured team with zero member input. Sihwan was part of the writing process around the group's earliest music, contributing to the debut material that framed TUNEXX as a performance unit with a little more creative ownership than the standard launch template. That matters in a market where agencies love to talk about authenticity but rarely hand it over this early.
TUNEXX began its rollout with the SBS drama OST One Last Chance in January 2026, then officially debuted on March 3 with SET BY US ONLY and the title track I'm Alive. Sihwan's profile inside that opening era is built on vocal utility, songwriting credibility, and survival-show familiarity, which gives him a slightly different shape from the members who are being pushed first through visuals or personality clips. If TUNEXX develops into a longer-term catalog act rather than a short-cycle rookie launch, Sihwan looks like one of the members most likely to matter to that evolution.
