Sooin

Sooin (수인), born Kim Soo-in (김수인) on April 12, 2005, in Daejeon, is the main dancer and sub vocalist of MEOVV under THE BLACK LABEL. Raised in Daegu from age three, she moved to Seoul during middle school to pursue training, entering her first agency in 2019 before transferring to THE BLACK LABEL in 2022. She attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA), the same institution that has produced numerous prominent idols. Standing 172 cm tall, Sooin is the visual anchor of MEOVV performance identity. Her dance precision and physical command onstage are central to how the group navigates the muscular, bass-forward sound that producer Teddy has built around them. Her MBTI is ENFP, a trait that surfaces in the warmth and spontaneity she shows in variety content, even as her stage performance reads as exacting and controlled. Sooin was revealed as the third member of MEOVV on August 25, 2024. The group debuted September 6, 2024 with the digital single "MEOW," followed by "BBOMB" and "Body" in October 2024. MEOVV debut EP My Eyes Open VVide released May 12, 2025, with pre-release track "Hands Up" earning the group their first music broadcast trophy on M Countdown on May 8, 2025. The group also released their first Japanese single, "Me Me Me," in July 2025 under Universal Japan, serving as a promotional track for Kao Corporation. In February 2025, MEOVV was named brand ambassador for L Oreal Paris. Sooin attended the Bottega Veneta Singapore event early in her career, one of the first solo brand appearances by a MEOVV member.
