WayV
WayV (威神V) is NCT's China-based sub-unit, launched by SM Entertainment through its Label V subsidiary in January 2019. The group debuted as a seven-member act with Kun, Ten, Winwin, Xiaojun, Hendery, YangYang, and Lucas, releasing the single album The Vision. Lucas departed in 2023, and WayV has since operated as a sextet. The group built a bilingual discography across Chinese and Korean, with albums like Kick Back (2021), Phantom (2022), and On My Youth (2023) charting across both markets. Their 2024 EP Give Me That marked a dual-language release strategy, followed by Frequency (November 2024) and Big Bands (July 2025). On April 8, 2026, Ten concluded his SM contract but confirmed he will continue WayV activities.
