Woozi
Woozi (우지 | Lee Jihoon) is the production core of SEVENTEEN. Since the group's 2015 debut under Pledis Entertainment, he has shaped its musical identity with a level of authorship that very few idol-era stars can match at scale.
That role goes far beyond a token writing credit. Woozi has spent the last decade building SEVENTEEN's catalog from the inside, steering everything from the elasticity of early singles to the increasingly polished albums that turned the group into a stadium act. His KOMCA total sits in the hundreds, and his reputation inside K-pop is less about celebrity mystique than precision. He writes, arranges, records, revises, and keeps the machine moving.
His solo lane has sharpened that image rather than diluting it. The 2022 mixtape Ruby let him push harder into English-language pop-rock texture, while 2024 single What Kind of Future showed how emotionally direct his work can be. Even with military service beginning in September 2025, Woozi's place is already fixed. He is one of the defining idol-producers of his generation.
