Yeji
Yeji (예지), born Hwang Ye-ji (황예지), is the leader and main dancer of ITZY under JYP Entertainment. Since the group's 2019 debut, she has been the member most closely associated with ITZY's performance-first identity: sharp lines, aggressive control, and the kind of stage authority that makes even familiar choreography feel expensive. She was one of the clearest breakout performers of her generation almost immediately.
That reputation has held because the technique is real. Studio Choom's "Artist of the Month" spotlight, survival-show mentoring work, and years of front-line ITZY stages all reinforced the same point: Yeji is not just charismatic, she is disciplined. Her 2025 solo EP Air finally gave that performance identity a dedicated release, framing her as a solo artist with enough focus to hold the center without the group around her.
Fashion followed naturally. Roger Vivier brought her into the house's ambassador lineup in 2025, while beauty partners like Laneige, Valentino Beauty, Chaumet, and Tirtir widened her commercial reach. The result is a profile that feels very JYP in one sense and very individual in another: elite stage execution backed by a personal image sharp enough to travel into luxury, beauty, and editorial space without losing the performer at the core.
