Yihyun BDC

Yihyun (이현), born Jo Yi Hyun (조이현) on April 11, 2006, is the leader and main vocalist of Baby DONT Cry, the four-member girl group under P Nation produced by Jeon Soyeon of (G)I-DLE. She is the one member promoting under her real name, and her pre-debut path already looked unusually camera-ready: child-model work, early TV exposure through Wicked, and years of training before the group finally surfaced.

That background helps explain why Yihyun reads so composed so early. When P Nation began rolling out its first girl group in 2025, she immediately emerged as the leader figure, and that positioning held once the team formally debuted as Baby DONT Cry on June 23, 2025 with F Girl.

The first full test of that role came with the March 2026 mini album AFTER CRY, which gave the group a more substantial release footprint and pushed Yihyun further into the center of its identity. She also widened her profile beyond group promotions by joining SBS music-show duties as an Inkigayo co-MC, a useful signal that her appeal is translating outside the debut cycle too.
