Zhang Hao

Zhang Hao (章昊, 장하오), born July 25, 2000, in Nanping, Fujian, China, is a vocalist and instrumentalist who made history as the first foreign contestant to rank first on a South Korean idol survival show. His win on Mnet's Boys Planet in May 2023, receiving 1,998,154 votes, earned him the center position and debut slot in ZEROBASEONE (ZB1). Before training as an idol, Zhang Hao ranked first in Fujian province on the national college entrance exam for arts students and enrolled in musicology at Fujian Normal University, graduating in 2024. He plays violin, cello, viola, and piano, and performed with his university orchestra. After watching a choreography video by Lia Kim during high school, his interest in K-pop led him to retake the exam for arts school. WAKEONE Entertainment recruited him in 2021 as a trainee. ZEROBASEONE debuted July 10, 2023. At 180.5 cm, Zhang Hao served as the group's center through its full run before the project group's conclusion in March 2026. Following ZB1's disbandment, Zhang Hao was confirmed as a member of AND2BLE (앤더블), a new boy group under YH Entertainment (Yuehua) alongside former ZB1 members Seong Han-bin (Ricky), Kim Gyuvin, and Han Yujin. AND2BLE is scheduled to debut on May 26, 2026. He is known for an ISFP personality type and the panda emoji as his representative symbol.
