GrayGames, presented on its official site as GRAYGAMES with the line “Beyond Boundaries, Into the GRAY,” is a Korean game studio inside RI Games Holdings. The studio is the first team publicly attached to WEBTOON Entertainment's new push to turn top webcomic worlds into long-cycle game franchises.

Its first major proof point is already defined. Reporting tied to the WEBTOON investment says GrayGames is developing the action MMORPG based on Overgeared, with Nexon handling global publishing. That makes GrayGames more than a quiet subsidiary. It is the front line for whether WEBTOON's gaming strategy can land with the same scale its biggest fantasy series already command as comics.

The timing matters too. The studio sits inside a slate built around established titles such as Overgeared, Doom Breaker, and Omniscient Reader, which means GrayGames is working with audience-tested IP instead of speculative originals. In this cycle, execution matters more than awareness.
