Nexon is the global game company publishing the first announced title in WEBTOON Entertainment's RI Games strategy. Korea JoongAng Daily and follow-up reporting say Nexon will publish the Overgeared action MMORPG being developed by GrayGames, which immediately gives the slate a distribution partner with real scale instead of a soft launch path.

The company's official brand and corporate pages position Nexon as a long-running game business with a dedicated global identity and Korean corporate base. That matters here because WEBTOON did not attach its first named project to a speculative publishing setup. It attached it to a publisher already built for international reach.

For HITKULTR, Nexon matters less as a general gaming giant than as the commercial bridge in this specific franchise stack. If WEBTOON and RI Games Holdings are building the IP-side engine, Nexon is the partner tasked with taking that first Overgeared game to the global market.
