LE SSERAFIM and TWS Confirm April Comebacks, Setting Up Spring's Biggest Chart Battle
Source Music and Pledis Entertainment confirm both LE SSERAFIM and TWS are targeting April releases, joining TXT and Park Ji Hoon in an already crowded spring schedule.
March 8, 2026
April just became the most crowded month on the K-pop calendar. Both LE SSERAFIM and TWS confirmed comeback plans for next month, setting the stage for what could be the year's most competitive chart battle.
Source Music confirmed to Dispatch on March 5 that LE SSERAFIM is "currently preparing to release a new song in April," with exact scheduling details to follow. The announcement marks the group's first comeback in approximately six months, following their October 2025 single "SPAGHETTI," which peaked at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. That placement represented their strongest US chart performance to date, jumping 26 spots above their previous best with "CRAZY" at No. 76.
TWS Brings Momentum from Viral Success
Hours after the LE SSERAFIM announcement, Pledis Entertainment confirmed that TWS is also targeting an April release. The agency stated that "the goal is an April comeback," with specific scheduling information coming later.
The six-member group enters the spring season riding significant momentum. Their October 2025 title track "OVERDRIVE" sparked the viral "Angtal Challenge" (also known as the "Cute Pouting Challenge"), cementing their status as one of K-pop's fastest-rising acts. Since their January 2024 debut with "Plot Twist," TWS has consistently charted with follow-ups including "If I'm S, Can You Be My N?" and "Countdown!"
April's Crowded Lineup
The LE SSERAFIM and TWS confirmations add to an already stacked April schedule. TXT has locked in April 13 for their eighth mini album "7TH YEAR: When the Wind Paused Briefly in the Thorn Bush." Park Ji Hoon is also scheduled for an April comeback, though specific dates remain unannounced.
The timing creates an unusual situation: two HYBE subsidiary groups, LE SSERAFIM (Source Music) and TWS (Pledis Entertainment), will compete directly within the same release window. With TXT also under the HYBE umbrella through BigHit Music, the conglomerate appears set to dominate April's chart conversation regardless of which act lands at the top.
What to Watch
For LE SSERAFIM, the April comeback tests whether their "SPAGHETTI" Hot 100 momentum can translate into consistent US chart presence. Billboard success has become a measuring stick for fourth-generation girl groups, and another strong showing would reinforce their position as global contenders.
TWS faces different stakes. The group needs to convert viral challenge culture into album sales and music show wins. If "OVERDRIVE" proved they can capture attention, April will show whether they can sustain it.
Exact dates for both LE SSERAFIM and TWS remain pending. Source Music and Pledis Entertainment have indicated further scheduling announcements will follow in the coming weeks.
