ALPHA DRIVE ONE
ALPHA DRIVE ONE (알파드라이브원), also known as ALD1, is an eight-member multinational boy group under WakeOne, formed through Mnet's reality competition show Boys II Planet which aired from July 17 to September 25, 2025. During the live finale, hosted by Kim Jae-joong, the final lineup was determined through global voting across 223 countries and regions tallying approximately 26.5 million votes. Members Junseo, Arno, Leo, Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, and Sanghyeon represent multiple nationalities, with Chinese members Xinlong (formerly of Boy Story under JYP Entertainment) and Anxin bringing prior industry experience.
Several members were already veterans before joining Boys II Planet. Junseo had previously promoted with 1the9 (2019-2020) and WEi (from 2020). Arno and Anxin had participated in KBS2's Make Mate 1 in 2024. Leo and Sangwon were part of Big Hit Music's pre-debut group Trainee A, and Leo later debuted as a soloist in August 2023. Junseo also made his acting debut in February 2025 in the Korean drama Secret Relationships.
ALD1 released their first pre-debut single Formula on December 3, 2025, building anticipation ahead of their debut. On January 12, 2026, the group dropped EP Euphoria, with Freak Alarm as the lead single. They claimed their first music show trophy on Show Champion on January 21, 2026. The group's name reflects their core identity: Alpha for the drive toward excellence, Drive for passion and momentum, and One for unity as a team.
