ALPHA DRIVE ONE (알파드라이브원), also styled as ALD1, is WakeOne Entertainment's eight-member project group built out of Boys II Planet with the tempo of a finished act, not a tentative rookie experiment. Junseo, Arno, Leo, Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, and Sanghyeon debuted on January 12, 2026 with Euphoria, arriving with the built-in urgency that comes from survival-show visibility and a lineup already familiar to fans of WEi, Trainee A, and other pre-debut pipelines. That background made the launch feel instantly scaled rather than developmental.

The music backed it up. Pre-release single “Formula” opened the runway in December 2025, then Euphoria landed with “Freak Alarm” and a six-track set that gave the group a sharper identity than most temporary teams get at debut. ALD1 converted that early momentum into real chart heat fast, taking a first music-show trophy within days and pushing into larger stages like Music Bank in Barcelona. For a group born out of TV voting, the key point is that the catalog moved quickly from fandom proof to market proof.

What makes ALPHA DRIVE ONE worth tracking now is the mix of polish and volatility. WakeOne moved the team with the same high-pressure speed it used for other Mnet-born acts, but this lineup feels especially global-facing, with Korean and Chinese members, existing fanbases, and a debut cycle already calibrated for scale.
