Daniela Avanzini

Daniela Andrea Avanzini Llorente arrived at KATSEYE with more competition stage experience than most trainees twice her age. Born on July 1, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia to a Venezuelan-Cuban-Italian family, she competed on America's Got Talent at age nine, placed 10th on So You Think You Can Dance (Season 13, 2016), and took second at SuperKids Europe. Her foundation in ballroom, Afro-Cuban, cha-cha, and salsa made her the standout physical performer during The Debut: Dream Academy. As KATSEYE's main dancer, Daniela anchors the group's choreography with a precision rooted in Latin dance traditions. She also appeared in the short film Georgia Sky before her group career took off. The group, formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, officially debuted on August 16, 2024 with the EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) and earned Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Gabriela" in 2025. Fluent in English and Spanish, Daniela brought the Latin American side of KATSEYE's multinational identity into the mainstream. Her technical range -- from competitive ballroom to contemporary K-pop choreography -- and a vocal presence that has grown measurably since debut make her one of the group's most complete performers. She reached 5 million Instagram followers by September 2025.
