KATSEYE
KATSEYE (캣츠아이) is a six-member global girl group formed through the 2023 reality competition series The Debut: Dream Academy, a joint venture between HYBE and Geffen Records. The group consists of Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung, representing the Philippines, Switzerland, the United States, and South Korea.
KATSEYE debuted on June 28, 2024, with the single "Debut" from their first EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong). Their follow-up EP, Beautiful Chaos, arrived in 2025 and expanded their sonic range. The group earned two nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their single "Gabriela." Their single "Gnarly," co-written by Alice Longyu Gao, became their first Billboard Hot 100 entry, while "Internet Girl" debuted at No. 29 on the chart.
The Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE chronicled their formation and helped build a global fanbase known as EYEKONS. High-profile partnerships with Gap and Laneige cemented their crossover appeal. In February 2026, member Manon announced a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing, with the remaining five members continuing promotions.
