EJ
EJ (의주 / ウィジュ), born Byun Eui Joo (변의주), is the South Korean leader who gives &TEAM its calm center. He came through the YX Labels system after time as a BigHit Music trainee, then turned a near-miss on BELIFT LAB's I-LAND into a second runway through &AUDITION - The Howling. That reset still matters because EJ did not debut as a finished product. He earned the role by staying steady through public development.
That steadiness became part of &TEAM's launch story. The group debuted on December 7, 2022 with First Howling: ME, expanded through First Howling: WE and Yukiakari, then crossed harder into Korea with Back to Life in 2025. EJ's value is not only positional. He is the member who keeps the group's Japan-Korea bridge feeling organized rather than split.
The current chapter is bigger again. &TEAM's official site is pushing the 2026 We on Fire cycle and the BLAZE THE WAY tour run, and EJ still reads as the face of that expansion. He leads without overselling the role, which is exactly why the leadership feels real.
