Jiseok
Jiseok (김지석, Kim Ji-seok) is a South Korean singer and the maknae of hard-of-hearing boy group Big Ocean under PARASTAR Entertainment. Born March 5, 2003, Jiseok is the youngest member of Big Ocean and also its most athletically decorated: before becoming an idol, he was a competitive swimmer who represented his hometown at national level.
Like his members, Jiseok has a hearing impairment and uses hearing aids to perform. His background in competitive sport instilled a precision and physicality that feeds directly into his stage presence. Big Ocean's debut on April 20, 2024 with "Glow" placed him at the center of K-pop history as a member of the first hard-of-hearing idol group to compete on mainstream stages. He is credited as a co-composer on "One Man Army" from Big Ocean's third mini album THE GREATEST BATTLE (March 2026), demonstrating a growing role as a creative force within the group. Jiseok also appeared in the drama Pado (파도), adding acting to his portfolio.
