Kim Sung Kyu
Kim Sung Kyu (김성규; born April 28, 1989) is the leader and main vocalist of INFINITE, whose career spans 15 years of solo and group activities. Born in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, he was the first member recruited by Woollim Entertainment after a street casting in Seoul in 2007.
His voice defined INFINITE's signature sound from debut, anchoring tracks from "Be Mine" (2011) to "The Chaser" (2012) and beyond. As a solo artist, he debuted with Another Me (2012) and has released four solo studio albums: 27 (2015), S (2018), Inside Me (2020), and Off the Map (2024). His musical direction ranges from rock-influenced ballads to emotive pop, reflecting his classical vocal training.
In 2023, INFINITE reunited as six members under the newly formed INFINITE Company, an artist-run management entity the members co-founded after departing Woollim. The group released 13egin (2023) and LIKE INFINITE (2025), with Sung Kyu maintaining his position as leader while balancing solo activities.
His solo work continues under BILLIONS, to which he signed in July 2024. Off the Map, his sixth solo mini album, arrived on March 2, 2026 via Kakao Entertainment -- a record exploring self-discovery and new artistic directions whose title emerged naturally as he described leaving any designated path behind. His 2026 solo concert series LV4: Leap to Vector at Olympic Hall in Seoul sold out all three March dates.
