Lee Chae-min

Lee Chae-min (이채민) has spent the last two years converting supporting momentum into lead credibility with deliberate speed. Born September 15, 2000 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, he studied acting at Korea National University of Arts and made his screen debut in High Class (2021) before a string of supporting roles built his range. Crash Course in Romance (2023) was his inflection point, earning him a regular national audience on tvN and a real-life relationship with co-star Ryu Da-in. He hosted KBS's Music Bank from September 2022 to May 2024, extending his visibility outside pure drama fandom. Then came Hierarchy (2024) on Netflix: his first main lead, a class-warfare teen thriller that introduced him to a global audience who had never heard of him before the premiere and couldn't stop talking about him after. Bon Appetit, Your Majesty (2025) followed, where he played a mercurial Joseon king with a taste for food and conflict. The performance earned critical notice for emotional volatility played straight. In August 2025, he signed with Varo Entertainment following his contract expiration with Gold Medalist, joining a roster that includes Byeon Woo-seok. He is next set to lead tvN's I Decided to Die opposite Roh Yoon-seo.
