Varo Entertainment (바로엔터테인먼트) is a Seoul-based actor management and content production agency founded June 1, 2020 by CEO Eom Heung-beom, a co-founder of BH Entertainment, one of Korea's premier actor management companies. The agency launched with a deliberate thesis: recruit the most talented young actors before the broader industry recognizes their value. The first artist signed, just three months after founding, was Lee You-mi, who had already been cast in Squid Game before the show aired. When the series became a global phenomenon, Lee You-mi's Emmy Award recognition elevated Varo's profile almost overnight. The roster has since grown into one of Korea's most commercially potent actor lineups. Byeon Woo-seok, Gong Seung-yeon, and Park Jung-woo transferred from BH Entertainment at Varo's founding; Jin Goo joined after his BH contract ended. Byeon Woo-seok emerged as a global breakout through tvN's Lovely Runner (2024), bringing the company significant international visibility. Lee Soo-kyung was recruited as one of the most technically gifted young actresses of her peer group. Lee Chae-min joined in August 2025 following his contract expiration with Gold Medalist. Varo operates at the intersection of management and production, with the infrastructure to greenlight and produce its own content across film and television.
