Liz

Liz (리즈), born Kim Ji-won (김지원) on November 21, 2004, is the vocalist who gives IVE much of its emotional weight. After joining Starship Entertainment through an open audition, she debuted with the group in December 2021 and quickly separated herself as one of the more dependable singers in fourth-generation idol pop. Her tone is warm without turning soft, and powerful without sounding forced. That balance is a big part of why key IVE records keep leaning on her for lift and release. The solo track "Unreal" on the 2026 album REVIVE+ made that even clearer, giving her space to carry a song without the usual group-share limits. Outside music, Liz's fashion and beauty profile kept climbing through 2026. She fronted Matin Kim's spring-summer campaign, became a global ambassador for TONYMOLY, and added Valentino ambassador work to a year that already had heavy group momentum from IVE EMPATHY, XOXZ, REVIVE+, and the Japanese EP Lucid Dream. She is no longer just the quiet strong singer in the lineup. She is one of the clearest reasons IVE's records keep landing with both scale and texture.
