MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO (마마무) is a South Korean girl group formed in 2014 under RBW Entertainment, composed of Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. Defined by extraordinary live vocal ability, genre fluidity, and a willingness to subvert K-pop convention, MAMAMOO became one of the most celebrated girl groups of their generation, establishing a standard for what artistic authenticity can look like within the idol system.

The group debuted on June 18, 2014 with the single "Mr. Ambiguous," quickly building a reputation through televised competition stages and organic chart momentum.
