MAMAMOO (마마무) is the four-member vocal powerhouse RBW built around Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. Formed under RBW, the group carved out a lane that prioritized live vocals, musical personality, and performance control at a moment when many idol acts were still being judged first on polish and conformity.

The group debuted on June 18, 2014 with Mr. Ambiguous and quickly built momentum through strong live stages, Immortal Songs appearances, and a run of singles that kept widening the audience. Um Oh Ah Yeah pushed MAMAMOO into the mainstream, while You're the Best, Yes I Am, Starry Night, Egotistic, and HIP cemented the group as one of the defining girl groups of its generation. HIP later became their biggest international crossover, topping Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart.
