
Minnie
Minnie (민니, born Nicha Yontararak on October 23, 1997) is a Thai singer and actress based in South Korea. She is a vocalist and main songwriter of the K-pop group (G)I-dle, which debuted under Cube Entertainment in May 2018. Minnie launched her solo career with the extended play Her on January 21, 2025.
Born in Bangkok, Minnie grew up in a musical family. Her mother and aunt play piano, and she learned from watching them. She attended Wattana Wittaya Academy and studied at Grammy Vocal Studio before passing the Cube Star World Audition in Thailand in 2014. She speaks five languages: Thai, English, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin.
Within (G)I-dle, Minnie serves as a primary vocalist known for her warm, distinctive tone. She has contributed to songwriting and production, composing tracks including "Blow Your Mind" and "I'm the Trend." Her composition work earned particular recognition during (G)I-dle's appearance on Queendom, where her Thai-language intro for "Latata" caught national attention.
Minnie made her acting debut in the Netflix sitcom So Not Worth It (2020), playing a fictionalized version of herself alongside Got7's Youngjae. She has also contributed to drama soundtracks including "Getaway" for My Dangerous Wife and "We Already Fell In Love" for Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (with Miyeon).
