
Shuhua
Shuhua (슈화), born Yeh Shu-hua (葉舒華), is a Taiwanese singer and the maknae of K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE. Born on January 6, 2000, in Taoyuan, Taiwan, she brings a unique multicultural background to the group, with her father being Hakka Chinese and her mother being Atayal, one of Taiwan's indigenous peoples.
Shuhua was recruited by Cube Entertainment during the 2016 Cube Star World Audition in Taiwan. After completing her first year at Hwa Kang Arts School in Taipei, she moved to South Korea to train, debuting with (G)I-DLE on May 2, 2018, with the EP I Am.
Known for her visual presence and improving vocal skills, Shuhua has grown significantly as a performer since debut. She won a bronze medal in rhythmic gymnastics at the 2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships. In 2023, she was selected as the solo host for the web entertainment show Workdol.
Beyond music, Shuhua has secured brand ambassador roles with Taiwanese brands Robinmay and D+AF. In October 2025, she was appointed tourism ambassador for her hometown Taoyuan. She is fluent in Mandarin, proficient in Korean, and has good command of English and Japanese.
