Siyeon
Siyeon (시연), born Lee Si-yeon (이시연) on May 16, 2000, is the main vocalist and guitarist of the South Korean girl band QWER under Tamago Production. She joined NMB48 Team M in August 2021, becoming a member of the Japanese AKB48 sister group based in Osaka. She graduated on August 8, 2023, and just five days later announced she was joining QWER as the fourth and final member. That swift transition made her the first Korean idol previously trained in Japan's AKB48 system to debut as a main vocalist in a K-pop live band.
Siyeon's classical idol background -- stage presence, vocal training, fan engagement -- gave QWER a polished melodic edge that balanced the rawer energy of her bandmates. Her emotive delivery became central to the group's identity. Known by her nickname Siyomin, she represents the letter R in QWER and plays guitar alongside Hina, giving the band a twin-guitar texture unusual in K-pop. Her MBTI type is INFJ.
Siyeon debuted with QWER on October 18, 2023, with the single album Harmony from Discord. The group completed their first world tour, ROCKATION, across 17 cities in 2025, and announced their fourth mini album CEREMONY for April 27, 2026.
