Yamashita Taira (山下 剛楽), known by his stage name Taira (타이라), is the Japanese member of IST Entertainment's seven-piece boy group TUNEXX. Born April 3, 2005 in Tokyo, Japan, he built his performance foundation through professional dance, joining dino, an official team under Avex's Dance Master program. The precision and physicality developed across Tokyo's elite training circuit made him one of TUNEXX's most technically assured performers from debut.
Taira and Thai maknae Arctic represent TUNEXX's international dimension, part of IST Entertainment's intent to build a cross-cultural identity from day one. His inclusion was officially confirmed in February 2026. TUNEXX pre-debuted with the drama OST "One Last Chance" for No Tail To Tell on January 16, 2026, before releasing the first mini album SET BY US ONLY and title track "Proof That I Am Alive" on March 3, 2026.
