WJSN
WJSN (우주소녀), also known as Cosmic Girls, built one of the richest catalogs in third-generation girl-group pop. Debuting under Starship Entertainment on February 25, 2016, the group turned celestial worldbuilding into something more flexible than a concept gimmick. WJSN could do glossy synth-pop, dramatic festival anthems, and softer fan songs without losing identity. That range is why tracks such as Secret, Save Me, Save You, As You Wish, and Unnatural still hold up as more than nostalgia plays.
The current 10-member lineup reflects both durability and change. The group began as 13, then shifted after the departures of Xuanyi, Cheng Xiao, and Meiqi in 2023. What stayed intact was the core chemistry between Exy, Seola, Bona, Soobin, Luda, Eunseo, Yeoreum, Dayoung, Yeonjung, and Dawon. WJSN also spread its reach through sub-units like WJSN Chocome and WJSN The Black, while individual members kept the name visible through acting, variety work, musicals, and solo schedules.
The long gap between group releases made the 2026 return matter more. On their 10th anniversary, WJSN came back with the single Bloom Hour, a fan-facing release built around memory, trust, and the idea of a group still opening up rather than winding down. It was their first new group music in four years and a reminder that WJSN's appeal has never depended on constant volume. The group works because the catalog is deep, the voices are distinct, and the emotional tone still feels recognizably theirs.
