Xiumin
Xiumin (시우민), born Kim Min-seok (김민석), has always operated like one of the most technically dependable pieces inside EXO. He debuted with the group in 2012 after entering SM Entertainment through the Everysing contest, then spent the next decade proving how much range could sit inside a profile that was often underestimated at first glance. Vocally, rhythmically, and on stage, he became the kind of member every high-performance group needs: precise, durable, and impossible to throw off balance.
That reputation carried cleanly into EXO-CBX and then into his solo work. Brand New gave him a bright retro-pop entry point in 2022, but the later Interview X and digital single Overdrop made the bigger point. Xiumin's solo lane is not built on novelty. It is built on control, polish, and a performer who understands exactly how to scale his voice and image outside the group framework.
The move to INB100 in 2024 sharpened that chapter without breaking the EXO identity that made him famous. It also landed at a time when veteran idol careers were being restructured around smaller, artist-led companies. Xiumin remains one of the cleaner examples of how that transition can work when the catalog, fan trust, and performance credibility are already there.
