815 VIDEO Accuses INB100 of Leaving $44K Unpaid for Xiumin's "Overdrop" Music Video
Production company 815 VIDEO has publicly accused Xiumin's agency INB100 of failing to pay 65.96 million KRW for the "Overdrop" music video and teaser, threatening legal action.
March 24, 2026
Video production company 815 VIDEO has publicly accused INB100, the Seoul-based agency representing EXO member Xiumin (시우민), of failing to pay 65.96 million KRW (approximately $44,000 USD) in outstanding music video production fees. Per 815 VIDEO's official statement released on March 19, 2026, the company detailed the alleged non-payment for work completed on Xiumin's second digital single, "Overdrop." The company says INB100 commissioned the project in August 2025, contracting 815 VIDEO to produce a main music video and a teaser, with a total agreed contract value of 82.46 million KRW (approximately $55,000 USD). A 16.5 million KRW down payment was received at the time of commissioning, but the remaining balance has gone unpaid since delivery. The music video was completed, handed over, and used in Xiumin's official promotional rollout ahead of the single's October 20, 2025 release date.
The Dispute
815 VIDEO's statement made clear that its side of the contract was fully honored. Both the main music video and teaser for "Overdrop" were produced and delivered as agreed, with the content deployed in Xiumin's actual promotional campaign. As reported by Star News Korea, the payment situation grew complicated after the INB100 staff member originally overseeing the project left the agency. Following that departure, 815 VIDEO says its repeated attempts to contact INB100 and secure the outstanding balance received no clear response, no payment schedule, and no acknowledgment of the debt. The company expressed deep regret over the prolonged delay and issued a firm warning: if the 65.96 million KRW is not paid promptly, it will pursue all available legal remedies to protect its rights. As of March 23, 2026, INB100 has not issued any public statement addressing the allegations.
Who Is INB100?
INB100 is a South Korean management agency founded by EXO member Baekhyun in January 2024, according to Korean business registry filings reported by Newsen. The label handles solo promotions for the three members of EXO-CBX: Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen. Baekhyun launched the agency after the trio's individual SM Entertainment contracts expired, giving each member greater creative control over their solo schedules and releases. The arrangement allows each artist to pursue individual activities under INB100 while continuing to fulfill EXO group commitments under SM Entertainment. The "Overdrop" dispute marks the first significant public financial controversy for the relatively young agency, arriving roughly two years into its operation. For a label created specifically to manage the solo careers of three established K-pop artists, the optics of an unpaid vendor publicly threatening legal action are difficult to navigate, regardless of whether the situation is ultimately resolved.
Fan Meeting Goes On
Two days after 815 VIDEO's statement went public, Xiumin proceeded with his scheduled birthday fan meeting, titled "2026 XIUMIN BIRTHDAY FANMEETING [XIUMIN's Voyage Crew: Join now!]," held on March 21, 2026, at XSCALA in Seoul. The event ran in two sessions, as confirmed by ticket platform Yes24's event listing, with Xiumin performing in the role of "Captain" for an immersive concept built around guiding fans on a voyage, incorporating fan interaction segments and a live setlist drawn from his solo catalog. Per multiple fan accounts and event coverage, no statement was made during the event addressing the payment dispute. No explanation was offered regarding the outstanding balance or INB100's position on the 815 VIDEO claim. Fan communities online were divided on whether proceeding with the event without any public acknowledgment was the right call given the timing of the ongoing controversy.
A Vendor Dispute With Broader Stakes
Non-payment disputes between production companies and K-pop agencies are not unheard of, but public accusations of this scale are uncommon, particularly when the agency in question was founded by an active idol artist. As reported by MK Economy and Chosun Biz, the 815 VIDEO claim was covered as a financial accountability story rather than a celebrity scandal, a framing that puts pressure on INB100 to respond through corporate channels. The public nature of 815 VIDEO's statement, which named specific contract values and described failed communication attempts, suggests the company exhausted private channels before going public. For production vendors working with newer labels, the case raises practical questions about payment terms, milestone structures, and the protection available to smaller companies when working on content for established artists whose agencies may lack the financial infrastructure of larger entertainment conglomerates.
