Yook Sung-jae

Yook Sung-jae (육성재; born May 2, 1995) is a South Korean singer and actor, and the maknae (youngest) of BTOB. Known simply as Sungjae, he is one of the most visible BTOB members outside the group -- a consistent drama lead who has built a major acting career parallel to his music work. Born in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, Sungjae debuted with BTOB under Cube Entertainment on March 21, 2012 at just 16 years old. His acting breakthrough came with MBC's Who Are You: School 2015, where he starred opposite Kim So-hyun and cemented his crossover appeal. Subsequent drama roles include Goblin (2016) alongside Gong Yoo, The Haunted Palace, and All About Blue. He has also maintained a strong solo music career, releasing the 2021 mini-album 1st 1995 and working as a vocalist in sub-unit BTOB-BLUE. After BTOB's departure from Cube Entertainment in November 2023, Sungjae signed with IWill Media for solo activities while continuing BTOB group promotions.
