Zion.T

Zion.T (자이언티), born Kim Hae-sol (김해솔) on April 13, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his distinctive falsetto, signature oversized sunglasses, and genre-blending approach to R&B and soul. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential alternative R&B artists of the 2010s Korean music scene. Zion.T rose to national prominence in 2014 with the smash single Yanghwa BRDG (양화대교), a lo-fi pop-R&B track about the Han River bridge that became a Korean cultural touchstone and one of the most-streamed Korean songs of its era. His debut studio album Red Light came out in 2013 under Amoeba Culture, establishing his credentials as both a vocalist and producer. He signed to THE BLACK LABEL (a YG Entertainment subsidiary) in 2016, releasing the well-received EP O O and various collaborations with artists including G-Dragon, Crush, and Zico. His second studio album Zip arrived in 2023, a more introspective and experimental record that cemented his standing as an artist who operates outside the K-pop mainstream while still commanding a mainstream audience. He is currently signed with Standard Friends (2024). In April 2024, JYP Entertainment confirmed his relationship with TWICE member Chaeyoung.
