Studio S
Studio S (스튜디오S) is the drama production subsidiary of Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS), formerly known as The Story Works Co. Founded on March 16, 2010, the company serves as SBS's primary in-house drama production arm, developing and co-producing content for domestic broadcast and global streaming platforms including Netflix and Disney+.
Over more than a decade, Studio S has produced some of South Korea's most-watched and critically acclaimed dramas. Its slate includes Innocent Defendant (2017), which became one of SBS's highest-rated dramas; the revenge epic The Penthouse: War in Life (2020-21); the action-thriller franchise Taxi Driver (2021-25, three seasons); Business Proposal (2022), a global Netflix hit; Through the Darkness (2022); and Flex x Cop (2024). Studio S also has a digital content subsidiary, Binge Works, expanding its footprint into short-form and streaming-native formats.
In 2026, Studio S co-produces the SBS/Netflix romantic comedy Sold Out on You (오늘도 매진했습니다) alongside Beyond J and Slingshot Studios, starring Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin, premiering April 22, 2026.
