Nine years into her career, Im Yeo-jin (임여진) is finally doing it her way. YeoJin, the youngest member of LOONA and one of five current members of Loossemble, drops her debut solo single album Lv1 on March 10, 2026 at 12 PM KST. Following her 2025 digital single "Dancing in the dark," this is her first fully packaged solo release, a milestone that signals this chapter is no longer a side note.

A New Agency, A New Start

The timing is deliberate. YeoJin signed an exclusive contract with MUMW Entertainment on January 26, 2026 after parting ways with CTDENM, the label that had housed the Loossemble unit. MUMW's scope is wide: music, acting, and content, suggesting that Lv1 is the opening move in a longer solo strategy rather than a one-off side project.

The debut was teased in stages. On March 3, a striking profile photo dropped announcing the solo project. March 5 brought the full tracklist and a countdown teaser. The album now arrives two days later, in the hands of a fanbase that has been waiting for this since the Loossemble formation three years ago.

What Is 'Lv1'?

The title is literally Level 1. It is not false modesty. It is a statement: this is the beginning, acknowledge it, own it. The single album contains three tracks.

The title track is "Sugar talk", which drives the promotional cycle. B-side one is "BTW", and the closer is "My Valentine." The production credits are handled entirely in-house at MUMW, with songwriting from Chano, Jeon Seoyeong, 59th, Oh Young, alongside external collaborators Runaverse and Jossh.

Who Is YeoJin?

Born November 11, 2002, YeoJin debuted as a LOONA member in 2017 under Blockberry Creative. She was revealed as the group's 11th member with the single "Kiss Later", earning the maknae role (youngest member of the group) that stuck with her through years of lineup changes and legal battles. When Blockberry collapsed and five members, including YeoJin, broke free through litigation, they re-emerged in 2023 as Loossemble under CTDENM. The group released three bodies of work: the self-titled debut album, One of a Kind in 2024, and TTYL in 2024.

She is now 23 years old and operating outside a group structure for the first time in her professional life. That is the real story behind Lv1.

What's Next

Lv1 releases March 10 at 12 PM KST across major streaming platforms. With MUMW Entertainment covering music, acting, and content activities, expect promotional material and possibly variety appearances to follow. Whether Loossemble continues to operate in parallel has not been addressed publicly.
