YG Unveils 2026 Roadmap: BIGBANG World Tour, New Boy Group, and BABYMONSTER Full Album
Yang Hyun Suk confirms BIGBANG's 20th anniversary world tour, announces YG's first new boy group since TREASURE, and outlines major comebacks for BABYMONSTER and TREASURE across 2026.
March 4, 2026
YG Entertainment is going all-in on 2026. In a strategy video released March 4, founder and executive producer Yang Hyun Suk laid out the agency's most ambitious roadmap in years: BIGBANG (빅뱅) will mark their 20th anniversary with a global tour, a new boy group will debut in fall (the first since TREASURE in 2020), and both BABYMONSTER and TREASURE have packed comeback schedules that span the entire year.
The announcement video, titled "2026 YG Plan," dropped at midnight KST on YG's official blog. This is the clearest signal yet that the agency is entering a new phase of artist investment and IP development after years of restructuring.
BIGBANG: 20th Anniversary World Tour
"Having worked together for so long, I am confident we will face no difficulties with the plan," Yang Hyun Suk said. "Together, we will do our very best to create a perfect and brilliant concert."
The tour, reportedly titled "BIGSHOW: REBORN," will feature trio members G-Dragon (권지용), Taeyang (동영배), and Daesung (강대성). According to multiple outlets, the tour will focus on stadium venues across Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania. Confirmed stops include Seoul for the opening, followed by Tokyo and Osaka in Japan; Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Toronto in North America; London, Paris, and Berlin in Europe; Sydney and Melbourne in Australia; and Bangkok in Southeast Asia. The tour is expected to run from summer 2026 through spring 2027.
This marks BIGBANG's third major global trek following the Alive Tour (2012-13) and the Made Tour (2015-16). Before the world tour kicks off, the trio will perform at both weekends of the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 12 and 19.

New Boy Group: Fall 2026 Debut
The biggest surprise in the announcement: YG is preparing a new boy group for a fall 2026 launch. This will be the agency's first new male act since TREASURE debuted in 2020.
Last year, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that a team of male trainees was under evaluation. "We are continuously exploring and analyzing these trainees," he said at the time. "I definitely want to launch one team next year." The announcement video confirmed this timeline is on track.
No details on the group's name, member count, or concept have been released. YG stated only that the debut is slated for the fall season.
BABYMONSTER: Two Albums and a World Tour
BABYMONSTER has the heaviest schedule of any YG act in 2026. The group will return with a new mini album titled "CHOOM" in early May. The comeback will kick off with a pre-release single of the same name, followed by a title track with what YG described as "a different vibe."
That's just the first half. Around October, BABYMONSTER will release their first full-length album. Between comebacks, the group will embark on their second world tour. Starting in June, they'll hold concerts in North America, South America, Europe, and Oceania.
TREASURE: New Sound, New Units
TREASURE, currently on their ongoing "Pulse On Tour," is preparing a June mini album comeback. Yang Hyun Suk teased that the project will show "a new side of TREASURE that has never been seen before." In accordance with the members' wishes, the album will feature "YG-style hip hop songs."
The announcement also confirmed the return of T5, TREASURE's performance-focused unit that debuted in 2023. Additionally, the group's rapper trio (Choi Hyun Suk, Haruto, and Yoshi) will debut under a new unit name later this year.
TREASURE is also scheduled to begin a new world tour in early 2027.
NEXT MONSTER: Two More Members Incoming
YG's upcoming four-member rookie girl group, currently operating under the project name "NEXT MONSTER," will reveal its remaining two members soon. The agency previously introduced members Eveli and Chanya through pre-debut content showcasing their performance and vocal skills.
No debut timeline was given, but the announcement positions NEXT MONSTER as another piece of YG's multi-generational artist strategy.
A Reset Year
Yang Hyun Suk emphasized that YG has made significant internal changes since last year, including shortened album production timelines and stronger IP development pipelines. "We have refined the results we have prepared," the agency said. "We will greet you with joyful news throughout the year."
With BIGBANG's anniversary tour anchoring the year, fresh blood in the trainee pipeline, and BABYMONSTER and TREASURE operating at full capacity, 2026 is shaping up to be YG's most concentrated release window since the pre-pandemic era.
