Gaeul

Gaeul (가을), born Kim Ga-eul (김가을) on September 24, 2002, is the eldest member of IVE and one of the most complete performers in the group. Scouted at an Incheon youth dance competition in April 2017, she trained for four and a half years under Starship Entertainment before debuting with IVE on December 1, 2021 on single album "Eleven." As IVE's main dancer and lead rapper, Gaeul covers more ground than anyone else in the lineup. Her choreography contribution for the track "♥beats" (2025) underlined a creative instinct that extends beyond performance. She has songwriting credits dating back to the group's second single "Love Dive" (April 2022), where she penned the rap lyrics for B-side "Royal," and contributed lyrics on three tracks from debut album I've IVE (2023) including "Hypnosis" and "Not Your Girl." She co-wrote the rap for "Kitsch," IVE's first chart-topper with direct member input. Gaeul's stage presence is built on restraint. She commands attention without overselling, bringing a cool precision to IVE's choreography that anchors the group's polished, confident identity. Her solo track "Odd" on IVE's 2026 repackage REVIVE+ showcased a sharper, more individual side. In February 2026, she launched her personal YouTube channel, Gaeul's Temperature, through Starship Entertainment.
