Go Soo
Go Soo (고수), born October 4, 1978, in Nonsan, South Korea, is one of the most quietly commanding actors of his generation in Korean film and television. Trained at Sangmyung University, he first caught critical attention with MBC drama Piano (2001) and crossed into leading-man territory with Green Rose (2005). His romantic drama Will It Snow for Christmas? (KBS2, 2009-2010) established his reputation as a lead built for emotional weight rather than idol-style appeal, a quality that carried into his film work.
On screen, Go Soo is known for restraint and physical gravity. His films include the psychological thriller White Night (2009), the acclaimed war film The Front Line (2011), and The King Wears a Crown (2023). His television credits include Missing: The Other Side (tvN, 2020) and Parole Examiner Lee (KBS2, 2023). Managed by BH Entertainment, he is one of the agency's most respected dramatic actors alongside Lee Byung-hun and Han Ji-min.
Nine to Six (SBS, 2026) marks his first romance drama in approximately 15 years. He plays Park Hyun-tae, a division head newly assigned to Chronic Motors Korea, opposite Park Min-young and Yook Sung-jae.
