Soobin
Soobin (수빈), born Choi Soobin (최수빈) on December 5, 2000, is the leader and one of the defining voices of TXT. Since the group's 2019 debut under BigHit Music, he has anchored its mix of melodic pop, performance precision, and emotionally direct storytelling with a steadier presence than most idol leaders ever get credit for.
What separates Soobin is control. Inside TXT, he balances the sharper performance edges of Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai with a softer vocal color and a low-drama public style that reads instantly on camera. That made him a natural MC during his Music Bank run, and it also explains why BigHit has continued to push him as one of the group's most approachable faces during major comeback cycles.
That public calm mattered even more after his late-2024 health hiatus. Soobin returned to full activity in February 2025, then stepped straight back into TXT's release schedule as the group moved toward The Star Chapter: TOGETHER. His solo track "Sunday Driver" and his growing fashion footprint show the same pattern as the rest of his career so far: no rush, no forced reinvention, just a steadily expanding profile built on trust and consistency.
