Xdinary Heroes
Xdinary Heroes (엑스디너리 히어로즈) is the six-member band under Studio J that proved JYP's rock lane was not a side project. Debuting on December 6, 2021 with Happy Death Day, Gun-il, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon built the group around live instruments, self-written material, and a world that treats Villains as the counterpart to their hero concept.
The catalog moved quickly without flattening into idol-pop formulas. Hello, World!, Overload, Deadlock, Livelock, and the full-length Troubleshooting widened the band's sound from wiry alt-rock into bigger arena-ready choruses, while Live and Fall showed how comfortably the group can stretch between melody, distortion, and theatrical pacing.
That consistency is why Xdinary Heroes matters beyond the niche band lane. Under JYP Entertainment and Studio J, they have become one of the clearest examples of a Korean band building a young global audience without giving up the live-band format.
