HYBE x Geffen Records
HYBE x Geffen Records is the joint venture built by HYBE and Geffen Records to test whether Korean-style idol development could scale as a U.S.-based global-pop business. The partnership became public in 2021, then turned legible to fans through The Debut: Dream Academy and the launch of KATSEYE. Its current second-wave test is ABEMA's World Scout: The Final Piece, the Japan-focused series used to complete the four-member lineup currently framed around Emily, Lexie, Samara, and one last finalist. That makes the company more than a vanity collaboration. It is one of the clearest live experiments in how K-pop training logic, Western label infrastructure, and platform-first storytelling can be fused into a global act pipeline.
