Lia, born Choi Ji-su on July 21, 2000, is the main vocalist of ITZY and one of the clearest tonal contrasts inside fourth-generation girl group pop. Her voice gave ITZY a softer melodic center without diluting the group's performance-heavy image, which is part of why her presence matters beyond line distribution.

Before debut, Lia spent part of her upbringing in Canada and trained after joining JYP Entertainment in 2017.
