GOT7

GOT7 (갓세븐) is a seven-member South Korean boy band that debuted January 16, 2014, under JYP Entertainment. Composed of Jay B, Mark, Jackson Wang, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom, the group built one of K-pop's most geographically diverse fanbases, with members spanning South Korea, the United States, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Taiwan. Their fandom, iGOT7 (Ahgase), achieved Circle Chart certified album sales exceeding 4.1 million copies through 2021. In January 2021, all seven members collectively declined to renew their JYP contracts -- a rare unified stand in an industry where agencies typically control roster decisions. They marked the moment with the independent single "Encore" and reclaimed their original social accounts. The group released a self-titled album in 2022 via Warner Music Korea, their first full-length release post-JYP. After individual members pursued high-profile solo careers -- Jackson Wang built a global pop career through TEAM WANG, BamBam launched VUJADAY MUSIC, Youngjae signed with Sublime Artist Agency -- GOT7 reunited for the mini-album WINTER HEPTAGON on January 20, 2025. Title track "Python" marked their first unified comeback in three years, released on the anniversary of their JYP departure. GOT7's early catalog is dense: Got It? (2014), Identify (2014), Just Right (2015), the Flight Log trilogy (2016-2017), 7 for 7 (2017), Eyes on You (2018), and Call My Name (2019). Their cross-genre range -- martial arts tricking on stage, multilingual releases in Korean, English, Chinese, Thai, and Japanese -- gave them sustained traction across markets where most K-pop groups never penetrate.
