Jungkook

Jungkook (전정국) joined BTS at 15 and became the standard against which every K-pop performer is measured. Born Jeon Jeongguk in Busan, he auditioned for Superstar K3 in 2011, drew interest from multiple agencies, and chose BigHit Music after watching RM perform. The youngest member of BTS, his growth from shy teenager to global superstar happened in real time across a decade of content. His 2023 solo album GOLDEN was a commercial juggernaut. Lead single "Seven" (featuring Latto) shattered Spotify's single-day streaming record, while "Standing Next to You" and "3D" (featuring Jack Harlow) proved his range from pop-funk to R&B. His performance of "Dreamers" at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Qatar placed him on the largest stage in sports. As Calvin Klein's global ambassador, he brought K-pop's influence into mainstream fashion in a way that transcended the genre's usual boundaries. He enlisted in December 2023 alongside Jimin, completed his service in June 2025, and returned to a BTS reunion that the world had been waiting for.
